    This subject focuses on Technical/ Machine/ Engineering Drawing (ED) and Workshop Technology (WT). Various trades in WT, which students learn in depth, are Plumbing, Turning, Fitting, Welding, Carpentry and Smithy. Students would even have ideas of handling and safeguarding the machines. These two years of junior college will help the student in every branch of Engineering, allowing him/her to focus better on other subjects simultaneously while in the first year of engineering.

    Engineering industrial visit conducted every academic year at places like Railway workshop (Lower Parel), Quick Industrial Supply (Vasai) for understanding engineering process, activity and learn production process.

    Engineering drawing sheets assignment completed by students and workshop practice done by student just like to manufacturing machine part as per given drawing.

    Why to study Mechanical Maintenance ?

    It is helpful for all engineering branches academic and for architecture study. In engineering first year there are compulsory subjects like Engineering Drawing and Workshop Practice (like Fitting job, Turning job, Welding job), Mechanical Maintenance will help you to build the foundation for these compulsory engineering subjects.

    How are 200 marks distributed ?

    Mechanical Maintenance subject are divided into 2 papers : Paper I and Paper II. Each paper includes theory 40 marks and practical 60 marks. Total 80 marks theory and 120 marks practical.

    How are 100 seats distributed ?

    The 100 seats are divided into following three categories :

    • Gujarati Linguistic Minority : 50 Seats Un-Aided
    • In-house (SVPVV, Kandivli) : 10 Seats Un-Aided
    • Online Admission : 35 ( + Vacant Seats from Gujarati Linguistic and In-house Quota) Seats Un-Aided
